Galerie O'Carré receives prestigious Innovated Retail Business Award

On Wednesday May 26, 2010 at the official Vaudreuil-Dorion Chamber of Commerce year-end reception, Galerie O' Carré was proud to receive the Retail Business Recognition award of the year.

This year, the Chamber of Commerce decided to underline the innovative side of certain businesses in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

In addition to the distinct honor and special attention, each prize winner received a unique trophy \ sculpture created by artist Ms. Claire Sarrazin of the Montérégie region.

A splendid gift and heartfelt appreciation for Ms. Ginette Malouin; being shown here, as she received her reward from Mr Bénito Migliorati, owner of the Chateau Vaudreuil, where the Gala event had taken place.

Grade sixers visit Galerie O'Carré

On Thursday, March 11, sixth-graders from Ste-Madeleine Elementary School in Vaudreuil-Dorion visited Galerie O’Carré, also in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

 

In preparation for this event, the group had previously viewed a Powerpoint Presentation shown to them by their teacher, Patricia…   The presentation included many of Galerie O’Carré artists and their profiles, plus a few pieces of art by each of the artists.  They were also questioned, with interest, on what they saw.

Réseaux Emploi Entrepreneurship held a five-to-seven event at the Galerie O'carré Art Gallery in Vaudreuil-Dorion.  Guests admired the fine collection of art, and were pampered with delightful little snacks and all kinds of different little delicacies from the Deli-Excellent Caterers.

To the delight of all the guests, Ginette Malouin, the owner of Galerie O'Carré, and a talented painter herself, charmed everyone by providing creativity tips and tricks of the independent worker along with a brief explanation and demonstration of her own painting techniques.

 

What a lovely and very interesting evening!  

 

Official inauguration of the Galerie O’Carré

Friday and Saturday, Oct 24 and 25, the official opening took place for the new boutique and gallery; Galerie O'Carré in Vaudreuil-Dorion. This gallery exposes over 1,200 unique and original creations, each accompanied with it's Certificate of Authenticity.

Each artist offers original pieces in four different formats, and four different prices. In this photo a tirage was draw and the happy winner is Rachel Quesnel who is receiving her gift from one of the artists; Yvon Duranleau, and the owner the owner of Galerie O'Carré, Ginette Malouin.
