Lise was born and raised in Quebec. She lives in Rosemère. Her colorful universe has a mysterious character which suggests, at different levels, multiple interpretations. She exalts the brightness of the shades by opposing them, so that the colors reach their maximum richness and brilliance.

Lise takes us in a world which radiates the essence of happiness and the joy of living. Her technique: Textures, calligraphy, ink, papers, collages are an integral part of her creative process. Her curriculum: After a career in oceanography and teaching, Lise was drawn to watercolor for its fluidity and transparency.

After several training sessions with American artists, she opted for mixed media for the great freedom and spontaneity that they allow. She has won several awards at exhibitions in Quebec, Ontario and France. Her paintings are found in several public and private collections in Canada, the United States and Europe, and galleries in Quebec and Ontario. She shares her passion by teaching at her studio-gallery in Rosemère.
