Ginette Malouin was born in Montreal in 1952 and presently lives in Vaudreuil sur le Lac. She is animated and spirited by a passion for the arts, and the artists.  Her work reflects a universe rich in light, color and poetry.  Her paintings are mainly abstract but most have a symbolic element guiding the imagination through to her profound source of expression.

Her technique:  Mixed media (watercolour, acrylic, China ink) collage on silk paper glued onto canvas that provides her with extensive freedom and spontaneity.
Academics and experience: After completing her DEC in Art at the C.G.E.P. de Valleyfield, painting became a hobby for her.  Many years later she decided to resume her painting and become an artist on a full time basis.  She has taught painting and created her own art courses based on the creative process.  In 2007, her work was exposed in a variety of symposiums, group expositions and in solo showing in the Montreal area.  She is now devoted to the art profession and is owner and the soul of her studio: Galerie O’Carré
