Luce Lamoureux, a watercolorist and flower painter, was immediately fascinated by the watercolor medium because of its fluidity and transparency. She is particularily inspired by the poetry found in the flora of the four seasons as she attemps to pass on to us this passion through a representation of its multiple forms and colors. The beautiful, sincere and grandiose power emmanating from the colors and the perfume of flowers helps the artist to render through her work an atmosphere filled with emotions.Thus she attemps to transport us into a deep dreamlike state. The forms of the flowers in her watercolors are suggested by the integration of splashes of color scattered over a chromatic, fluid, poetic universe in constant motion.

Academics and experience: Having obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Quebec in Montreal, she has upgraded her studies through courses and workshops given by various prominent watercolorists. She has exhibited in numerous group shows, symposiums and solos exibition throughout Quebec. Her works are publishing in Magazin’art and she has been cited in the Guide Roussan and Biennal Magazin’art over the past few years.
